Somatic Resiliency - Living Inside your Power

Somatic resilience is the body's innate capacity to respond to challenge, adapt to stress, and return to balance.
While resilience is often discussed as a psychological quality, true resilience is fundamentally embodied.
Our muscles, fascia, organs, fluids, and cellular structures all participate in our response to life's challenges.
When we develop somatic resilience, we build capacity at all these levels, creating a foundation for wellbeing that can withstand and even grow through difficulty.
In this four-day experiential workshop we will use progressive movement sequences for physical restoration developingemotional literacy through somatic awareness.
Using Artemis Movement, participants will discover how conscious body tone and somatic practices can foster genuine resilience, personal accountability, and embodied strength - moving beyond passive self-compassion toward active self-authorship.

This standalone session introduces core concepts and practices that will be expanded throughout the workshop.

MATERIALS & PREPARATION
Participant Preparation:
• Journal and pen
• Any personal props (e.g., favorite cushion, support blanket)
• Openness to both challenge and rest
Provided Materials:
• Artemis Movement Somatics Manual
• Journaling prompts
• Physical Support & Accessibility
• Local nature immersion opportunities outside of class including sauna & cold Immersion
• Movement props as needed
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
By the end of this four-day immersion, participants will:
1. Understand and embody the difference between passive self-care and active resilience-building
2. Develop greater comfort with productive discomfort as a growth mechanism
3. Master the 12 fundamental Artemis Movement forms
4. Establish a personalized daily practice for continued embodiment
5. Cultivate improved nervous system regulation and fascial health
6. Experience increased physical strength, coordination, and body awareness
7. Develop enhanced capacity for self-authorship and boundary-setting
